macOS Sonoma で m4 が使用できなかった件

macOS Sonoma で m4 コマンドを打ったところ、なぜか使用できないという事象が発生していました。
% m4
xcode-select: Failed to locate 'm4', requesting installation of command line developer tools.
Xcode Command Line Tools はインストールされているが
Apple 公式が Xcode 15.3 の CLT に m4 を入れ忘れるという、冗談のようなミスが発生していたようです。

Xcode 16
Xcode 16 で修正されるようだったのでずっと待っていましたが、先日の配信で m4 は帰還しました。
% m4 --version
